It’s all me, me, me

Hello everyone and welcome to my little part of the blogosphere.

I’m Jo, I’m 30 and I’m trying to become healthier. I spent the first 30 years of my life not giving a fig about health. I smoked, I drank and I ate.  I ate all the wrong things, and I ate too much. During my late teens and twenties I weighed between 12 and 14 stone.  I was a UK size 16 to 18.

Last year was a stressful one for me and my health suffered. This year I decided to become healthier, physically and psychologically. I quit smoking and put some time in at the gym. I’ve lost around 9lbs so far, and wouldn’t mind losing a few more. Working as a supply teacher means I have time off to make use of the gym, and try to learn how to cook! Check out my kitchen page to see how I’m getting on with that . . .

Thank you for stopping by my blog, i love hearing from fellow British bloggers!

I managed to get several pics in my header by first putting them into Paint and then cropped it to header size before uploading it – this worked for my blog (hope that makes sense!)

I am going to have a cuppa now and read over some of your past blogs….

Thanks for checking out my blog. I look forward to reading yours. And I hate cooking, too. If I still lived alone, I’d be eating salads for dinner every night. 🙂

So nice to find your blog…I have always wanted to visit Scotland! I love London so much so I’m sure I’ll love your country as well.

Congrats on your weight loss goals and being healthy in your thirties. As another girl in her 30’s I’m so with you on that!!
