Good food and oversized sunnies

7 Aug

Hey guys!

I hope you’re all good and enjoying August 🙂 I have a few things to catch up on after my trip, including reading the contents of my google reader which has a total of 409 unread posts. Scary! I also have to fill you in on a few goings-on.

I know you were all rooting for me on my date, unfortunately it wasn’t the best. Nice guy but no spark. We went to see Jaws at the GFT (Glasgow Film Theatre) and it was a lot of fun, we even got given free flip-flops with a bottle opener on the sole!

Other highlights of my trip away include a trip to Wagamama’s (my first time).

Amy are you proud I got something with mushrooms? I even ate one!

Rachel is modelling my over-sized sunglasses. They seemed like a good idea at the time. I promise she has a really pretty face behind there!

After dinner we went and got cocktails! I opted for a White Russian. I had never had one before, I approved immensely!

Some guy was sat at the table we used to hold our drinks while photographing. It’s possible he thought I was mad for taking photos of drinks. Meh!

Rachel had a margarita I think, or maybe it was a cosmo?

We modelled the glasses some more. It was dark at this point but at least we were outdoors!

Honest opinion, are these sunglasses too big for my face? I kind of love them anyway 🙂

I shall be back with more recap stuff soon, have a great weekend everyone! XOXO

The sungalsses are so cool! I like them 🙂

White Russian is so good – the only way I drink milk 😀

    Good to have you back!

That white russian looks yum! I’ve never had one but I’m pretty sure I’d like it.. It does remind me of when I was a barmaid in a rock nightclub during uni and a customer asked for a white russian and I thought he said white whisky, I kept saying what but I kept hearing that so I made him whisky and lemonade… oops!

    I like the sunglasses!!

I hadn’t been to Wagamama’s either until recently and thought I was the only one who had never been! Glad I’m not aline.

Hey! A shame about your date 😦 but doesnt matter as you have some really cool sunglasses. Dont think they are too big for you.
Im not a big fan of Wagamama. The food is nice but dont like the fast food atmosphere. Ive only been to 1 restaurant (but a few times). Last time, the waitress kept asking “you finished? you finished?” Boyfriend still had food in his mouth 😦
We might try another one tho…we’re not giving up 😉

  5. I love over sized sunglasses and I think these really suit you! Looks like you’ve been having a great time! x
